Nepal
Nepal Civil Aviation will not accept a permit application without copy of Approved Simulator Training Certificate. Due to terrain and complex arrival/departure procedures, flight crew must obtain flight simulator training for operations into Kathmandu Airport. Ensure you provide certification to your service provider in advance.
China
Civil Aviation Authority China has informed the latest regulation regarding slot control in ZBAA and ZSPD, details are as follows:
Due to slot congest in ZBAA and ZSPD, CAAC decide to have slot control on private jet, the application time between 1100-1700 local (0300-0900 UTC time) will not be granted for private jet landing or taking off.
The same aircraft landing and taking off time cannot occupy "peak hour" in the same day. For example, flight ABC can apply landing slot anytime during "peak hour" on 01st May, on the same day of 01st May the departure time can not apply for "peak hour" any more.
Note:
- The above regulation will be carried out from 25th Apr, 2009.
- The "peak hour" here means time from 1700-2200 local time (0900-1400UTC time) and 0800-1100 local time (0001-0300UTC time)
- Except ZBAA and ZSPD airport, other airports slot will not be affected by this regulation.
Hong Kong
Effective June 1st, the airport authority will be temporarily reducing their landing and parking charges by 10%. This discount will be in effect until December 31st, 2009 and will appear on each invoice.
